Harriet & Rob - An Alpaca Engagement

May I introduce you to Atlas and Ansel, two more adorable than expected but slightly stubborn Alpacas who played a staring role in last months engagement session!
Harriet & Rob's shoot idea was wonderfully different...a field in Staplehurst filled with their very own fluffy Alpacas who we would take for a walk....loving anything unusual I thought this was a brilliant idea!
With a little heel digging and a few disapproving looks from the Alpacas we set off for a wander. Chatting and enjoying my unusual sunday afternoon, I got to hear Harriet and Rob's plans for their wedding, of how they met and fell in love and how the Alpacas became a part of their lives.  Atlas and Ansel even obliged my fancy by allowing me to take their photograph, although they were a little suspicious! Soon though they tired of their moment in the spotlight and it was then and not a moment later that Ansel decided it was definitely time to return home to the comfort of his own little slice of english countryside and we were promptly escorted back to the gate!
We spent the rest of our afternoon wandering the fields, diving across ditches and scrumping for rosy red apples in the orchard...

This lovely pair are to be married on the 20th of October 2012 in a beautiful church in Staplehurst followed by a Ceilidh in the very quaint and pretty village hall. I'm very much looking forward to it!
